We have the honour of receiving an Innovation in LEED Award for Sherbourne Common Pavilion. The award was given out at the 4th Annual Legacy Gala by the Greater Toronto Chapter of the Canadian Green Building Council.
The project won in the ‘New Construction/Core and Shell’ category – the jury considered this project unorthodox in this category, but standing out above the rest as a tool to educate the public realm about the waterfront’s connection to the history of Lake Ontario.
Note: To clarify, this project was nominated for the award by Waterfront Toronto. Although Steve was involved on the jury panel, his comments were withdrawn from the evaluation and were not considered for this project.
