On Saturday August 9th, 650 bikes joined the Aykroyd Family Ride to the Philp J. Currie Dinosaur Museum for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony. In the evening, the museum hosted the black-tie Amber Ball, the weekend’s pinnacle event. The evening program included a five-course meal prepared by Grande Prairie’s most accomplished chef, a performance by The Tenors, ‘The Blues Brothers’ (featuring Dan Akroyd and musical guest), the Grande Prairie Boys Choir, and several other Juno award-winning musicians.
