Founded in Toronto, Ontario in 1989, Teeple Architects is a collaborative studio with additional offices in Vancouver, BC, and Raleigh, North Carolina. Our firm is driven by a commitment to creating buildings that enrich communities through innovative design, executed with technical precision and practical means.

Rooted in the collaborative ethos of founding principal Stephen Teeple, our practice is strengthened by the shared vision of our leadership team and staff. Together, we bring a rigorous, client-focused approach to every project, transforming constraints into opportunities for creative and enduring design solutions.

Teeple Architects serves a diverse range of clients, including colleges and universities, municipalities, Indigenous communities, cultural institutions, non-profits, and private developers. Our work has been recognized locally, nationally, and internationally with over 130 awards for design excellence, technical innovation, and sustainability. These honours include six Governor General’s Medals for Architecture, eight Canadian Architect Awards of Excellence, and accolades from the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC), American Institute of Architects (AIA), Holcim Foundation, and Society for College and University Planning (SCUP).

Teeple Architects is a renowned architectural firm celebrated for its award-winning designs and a deeply committed team of over 30 full-time professionals. We pride ourselves on our diversity, dedication, and the exceptional talent within our team, which is led by the visionary Founding Principal Stephen Teeple. Our leadership includes six Principals, two Associate Principals, and four Associates who, along with our skilled staff, collaborate seamlessly to bring innovative and sustainable architectural solutions to life.
