Teeple Architects is currently working with the University of Guelph and architects Tillmann Ruth Robinson on a new student residence at 78 College Avenue West. Representing the first new residence on campus in 25 years, the 378,000 sq ft project is designed to accommodate approximately 1,250 students and create a vibrant living-learning community that supports student wellbeing, connection, and a strong sense of belonging. With a 500-seat dining hall, study lounges, social spaces, and shared amenities organized around activated outdoor quads, the residence will help strengthen campus life while addressing critical student housing needs. This project also continues Teeple and aTRR’s longstanding tradition of collaboration, bringing our shared commitment to thoughtful, student-centred design to a welcoming new gateway at the western edge of campus.
