We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Controller to join our team. The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to improve processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial reports.
- Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Help lead the annual budgeting process, including preparation and analysis.
- Develop financial forecasts and analyze variances between actuals and forecasts.
- Work with department heads to manage and control their budgets.
Compliance & Internal Controls:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare for and coordinate audits as required.
- Ensure Compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct project financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Set performance objectives and provide regular feedback to team members.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Experience in Architecture & Engineering industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems implementation and upgrades.
- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
