We have had the honour of receiving two Toronto Urban Design Awards of Merit: one for Linea Townhomes, with Symmetry Developments and the other for Sherbourne Common with PFS Studio. Congratulations to all the winners this year.

We got to take home an Oshawa Urban Design Award for the Student Services Building at Durham College.

As a summary, here are the comments we’ve received from the Jury:

“The project is unique, bold and thought-provoking gateway building on a prominent site. The Jury was impressed with the appearance of this building and the permeability of its built form. The modern design is appropriate and reflective of Durham College as an institution that is forward-thinking and preparing students for the future. It is very appealing to people arriving at Durham College. The building also brings an exciting built form to the northern entrance of our community. It has amazing spaces, integrates transit service and creates a truly people-friendly place. The project sets new expectations for urban design in the City.”
