Sponsored by the Royal Institute of Architecture in Canada, In-Context has launched a video campaign to highlight the story of Waterloo’s historic intersection of Erb & Caroline, which now hosts four award-winning architectural works. Interviews with Bill Poole (Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery), Shirley Blumberg (CIGI Campus), Gilles Saucier (Perimeter Institute, Phase 1), and Stephen Teeple (Perimeter Institute, Phase 2) are woven together to reveal the array of ideas and buildings that influenced the urban realm of the rapidly growing Waterloo region. Half of the projects would not have been possible without funding and support by Jim Balsillie and Mike Lazaridis, co-founders of Research in Motion.

“Intersection of Erb&Caroline” is the 2nd part of a documentary video series that explore buildings and public spaces that have made a significant social, cultural or environmental impact in Canada.
