Rooftop is poured on Picasso on Richmond

To celebrate the final roof pour, Monarch Group hosted a delicious lunch-time get-together for all those who had participated in the construction of Picasso on Richmond. We braved soaring heights and a rickety ladder to meet the magnificent 40-storey high city view and have pictures to share! Exciting things are underway on Richmond Street and we are proud to be a part of that transformation.

Revealing the 67-storey O-shaped Tower on Mercer

The preliminary renderings of the Mercer Street tower have been presented as part of a public meeting at Metro Hall, before the application for an Official Plan Amendment (OPA). Craig White at UrbanToronto reported on the meeting and more details of the presentation can be found here. Note that the planning process will include extensive consultations which will evolve many elements of this design before the application is presented to the City, and even then, more changes will be made once the application is in.
