Teeple Architects win an Ottawa Urban Design Awards and a CDBI Award of Excellence

We have had the honour of receiving two awards this week for the Robert C. Gillett Student Commons at Algonquin College: an Ottawa Urban Design Award, and Canadian Design-Build Institute (CDBI) Awards of Excellence. Congratulations to the entire Project Team for such a great accomplishment!

The Student Commons was given an Ottawa Urban Design Award of Merit in the new “Campus Infill” category – a category added because this project was considered unique enough, not falling within any of the established categories. Nine other awards were given out.

The Student Commons was selected as one out of two projects awarded CDBI Awards of Excellence. We are extremely proud to have our project recognized as an example of outstanding design-build projects undertaken in the Canadian construction industry.
